The Golf Academy at Settlers’ Ghost Golf Club offers top-notch golf instruction in the Barrie area. Our practice facility provides the opportunity to hone your short-game skills, work on straightening out your driver or developing a reliable golf swing.
Our director of golf, Mary-Pat Quilty, carries a well-deserved reputation as one of the finest golf instructors in Ontario, having won the Golf Teacher of the Year Award from the Ontario Professional Golfers’ Association. Mary-Pat is also a past winner of the Women’s Ontario PGA Championship and played for many years on professional golf tours around the world. She and her team offer golf lessons for men, women and juniors  – both experienced golfers and beginner golfers.

Mary-Pat Quilty, our director of golf, is an award-winning instructor with a wealth of tournament experience. A Class A member of the Canadian PGA, she has played on the Australia and Asian PGA Tour, the U.S. Futures Tour, the Canadian Tour and at the LPGA qualifying school.

Among other victories, Mary-Pat, the 1997 Ontario PGA Golf Professional of the Year, won the Ontario PGA Championship three times and is a five-time winner of the Ontario PGA Mixed Championship with partner G.W. King.
