New in 2011: The Tuesday Morning Mixer

This league meets each Tuesday morning for 18-holes of golf, interesting formats, prizes, and lunch specials on the patio. (9-Hole section available)

Who’s eligible: Men and Women, Members and Public.
Joining Fee: $50 per person for weekly prize fund and year-end lunch.
Weekly Green Fee: $44.25 + HST
Weekly Green Fee with Cart: $53.10 + HST
Tuesday League Membership: $599.99 (18-holes) or $499.99 (9-Holes) + HST. Pay before April 15^th and play any Tuesday before 9 AM in 2011.
Time: 8:30 AM modified shotgun or tee times 8 AM to 9 AM on Tuesday.
Starting: Tuesday, May 10^th (19 Weeks of League Play)
Ending: Tuesday, September 20^th: (830 AM 18-hole shotgun with lunch and prizes.)

Couples League

The couples league meets 10 times this year on Friday evenings and includes the following dates: May 13, 27 June 10, 24, July 8, 22; August 5, 19; Sept 9, 23

Joining Fee: $100 per couple for the Meet and Greets and weekly prizes.
Cost: $49.99 + taxes per person. This fee includes 9-holes with a shared power cart and a set menu dinner. Our Chef, Mary Lou Gill and the Restaurant at Settlers’ Ghost will serve either a plated or a buffet-style dinner special each Friday evening.
Tee times: 5:30 PM shotgun Dinner: Approximately 8:00 PM
Golf: 9-hole fun tournament for each event using different formats. If you have a preference as to your playing partners, please let us know each week and we will accommodate you. If you prefer to meet and play with new people each week, let us know and we will ensure it happens.

Men’s League

League Joining Fee: $100 Includes: a welcome gift, scoring, prizes, year-end banquet.
Weekly Green Fee: $28.32. + HST = $32
Weekly Green Fee with a shared power cart: $35. 40 + HST = $40
Men’s League Membership: $499.99 + HST. Purchase before April 15th and play any Thursday after 3:30 PM all year.
Shotgun start: 5:30 PM each week. April 21^st is opening day. Please book a tee time.
Food and Beverage: Weekly league dinner and drink specials.
Format: Please register as a 4-person team or singles are encouraged to register and are put on a team formed from the singles list. Each team plays together 2 or 3 Thursdays per month and challenges other teams once or twice per month. The fall playoff series involves a series of 2-person team challenge competitions. The schedule of events is distributed at the orientation meeting.

Orientation Meeting: Thursday, April 21^st. Drop in between 5 PM and 7 PM.

Opening / Closing (April 21 & Sept 29) League Day Special: 9-holes: $22.12 + HST or 9-holes with a cart: $29.20 + HST
League Dates: Thursday April 21st to September 29^th. (24 Weeks of League Play)
Year-End Banquet: Thursday, September 29^th – shotgun 4:30 PM, dinner at 6:30 PM.

Family League:

Settlers’ Ghost is committed to offering local families an opportunity to play golf. This unique league allows families to play and learn golf together inexpensively. Parents (or uncles, aunts, & grandparents) are encouraged to join their junior in a friendly game of golf on Saturdays in May / June and on Tuesdays in July and August. Any junior golfer may join the Family league on his or her own.

Joining Fee: $10 per junior or $25 for 1 adult / 1 junior
Family League 9-hole Green Fee    Junior: $12 ($10.62 + HST)  Members: FREE
Family League 9-hole Green Fee    Adult: $15 ($13.27 + HST)    Members: FREE
Saturday Dates: May 14,21, June 4,11,18,25
Tuesday Dates: July 5,12,19,26, August 2,9,16,23,30

Tee times for the family league start at 4 PM on Saturday and 5:30 PM on Tuesdays. League members should arrive at Settlers’ Ghost at least 15 minutes prior to tee time. Family League members are encouraged to take the spring family golf clinic beginning on May 7th or the late spring family golf clinic beginning on June 4^th.

The Family League Golf Clinic:

Cost: $113 ($100 + HST) for 1 adult and 1 junior in a 5-week clinic.
Spring Clinic:            Saturday, May 7,14,21, June 4, 11    Time: 10:00 to 11:00 AM
Late Spring Clinic:    Saturday, June 4,11,18,25, July 2.     Time: 3:00 to 4:00 PM
Summer Clinic: Tuesday, July 5,12,19,26, August 2.  Time: 4:30 to 5:30 PM
