My husband and I had our wedding at Settlers Ghost Golf Club on Friday July 29, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
We had such a great night. All of our needs were met by the friendly and accommodating staff at Settlers Ghost. One staff member even drove home to get me bug repellant before nightfall without me even asking! We had our ceremony on the green, and it looked like something right out of a magazine. We were overlooking the beautiful golf course right at sunset which made for a memorable and picture-perfect wedding ceremony. The staff pretty much took care of all of our needs from start right to finish. We didn't have one thing to worry about. From setting up the ceremony and reception, to tearing everything down again, the staff literally covered it all! The food was great and was a huge hit with all of our guests. The dessert was so good and the chef even took the extra time and effort to add hints of pink to the dessert trays as my main wedding color was pink. The staff at Settlers Ghost were extremely thoughtful and took all of the little stresses away that come with planning a wedding. I wouldn't have picked a better place to have our wedding - Settlers Ghost is the perfect venue to have an intimate and classy wedding!

Our wedding was one the more beautiful days of the year, and the setting of Settlers' Ghost made it even more so for both us and our guests.  The staff at Settlers' were very helpful and accommodating throughout the process leading up to the wedding, and the day itself.  The groomsmen and I enjoyed a round of golf, and the nearby, Carriage Ridge was very beneficial to transport our guest to and from our wedding and reception.  The landmarks such as the barn and beautifully laid out course made our photos priceless and even more stunning than we could have anticipated.  It truly was an amazing experience, and Settlers' Ghost made it more so.

“Recently I had the pleasure of participating in a Pro-Am at Settlers’ Ghost Golf Club. Our hosts Lana Bertram and Mary-Pat Quilty arranged accommodation at your marvelous resort, Carriage Ridge.

My first impression when driving from Settlers’ Ghost to your resort was the proximity of the two facilities. There is nothing much nicer than having only several minutes to travel for a tee time. Upon arriving at the condo, I was amazed at the scope of the facility and then learned that I was only seeing one half of it as the Carriage Hills Resort is just a little further up the road.

The one bedroom Jacuzzi suite was just gorgeous: beautifully appointed with a complete kitchen, spacious living area including furnished balcony and gas fireplace.
